This is such a good theme especially for those people who think school is not an opportunity to understand their existence.
Most of the people think that most of the best things in life are taught by experience. Pero ako, that is not complete. Yeah, I agree with them that most of the valuable lessons in life can be found on experience. But that doesn't stop there. We need formal knowledge and information about things beyond what we can experience.
You might say, bakit naman si Bill Gates, na pinakamayamang tao sa buong mundo, and his pal, Steve Jobs, maker of Apple (yes, the I-pod and I-phone people are sought for) eh hindi naman nakatapos ng school nila pero naging successful sa buhay nila? I tell you then, do you have what it takes to become what THEY became now? UTAK + SIPAG .... BRAINS + DILIGENCE.... if you lack on one of those... the most probable thing will happen is that you will just stay that way... i won't say you'll fail, but stagnant. Always trying to pursue a far-away distant dreams.
Its very surprising these days, most of the Filipino youths are unfit for college. WHY???? they wanted to become actors and dancers!!!!! source: <http://www.balita.com/xshell.php?id=1491>
It's no wonder that reality star searches in the Philippines are mobbed by these high school students. Kahit na lumindol, bumagyo, or umulan ng apoy, they would swarm themselves in ABS-CBN, GMA, IBC, ABC, XYZ, TUV, NBN, etc. networks just to be a dancer and actor!
WHAT a pity... sayang ang oras nila.
These people should have been studying at school learning things that can help themselves, their family, and even their country. But because of the twisted truths the society are inputting to the minds of the youths, nababale wala na yung hard-earned knowledge and wisdom. They are trying to make the poor social status they are in as an excuse for joining these contests and forget about studying at school.
Sayang talaga...sayang.
These youths are being blinded by the false glitters the fame and showbiz exemplify. Why are they blinded? Simple reason... NOT ENOUGH knowledge by not having focused on studying at school.
So why bother going to school...
1. ...when I can win a reality star search and become an actor and a dancer.
(well, honestly, I haven't seen a star search winner who really shines in acting and dancing instantly, they have to undergo severe transformations pa before they become a good tango dancer..in short.. wala naman talagang talento sila!..lahat pilit ididivelop)
2. ...for the reason that I wanted to look far beyond the horizon I am seeing now.
It's up to you which one suits you!
